Ocean Breeze Hotel - Strand

I had a fantastic Easter break! The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach, which made our morning walks lovely. The spacious room was a total bonus, and I can't stop raving about how comfortable the bed was! Plus, the restaurant by the pool served delicious meals, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun.

There were a few hiccups. Our room had no air conditioning, and with the heat, a fan just didn’t cut it. The noise from the busy street made it hard to get a good night’s sleep, and it would’ve been nice if the spa appointments were easier to book. a great stay with room for improvement!

the location is great and awesome and close to beach and ocean basket restaurant as well as the ocean. also, voortrekker park resorts is at a moderate distance from the venue.

We booked double room with a double bed and could use wake-up service, available in it. This hotel was set in a very central area just off the sea, ocean basket restaurant and beach and ocean basket. We saw Koop Sentrum, that's relatively near the venue...

We loved the fine sea view from our room; it made our stay special and relaxing.

The breakfast could use a few more fresh fruit options.

There were a microwave oven, tea/coffee making equipment and a fridge in the great-sized room. It had lovely beds and an incredible view of sea.

The hotel was clean and had very amiable staff. I stayed in the room that was smelly old dirt carpets white couch never cleaned patio needs a scrub and available with bath and a seaview, as for instance. The location was particularly good and stunning - next to the sea, spectacular ocean side, and the beach, and the restaurant. The stay was absolutely really comfortable.

The ocean view was stunning, providing hours of relaxation on the couch. Staff members, especially Manager Prosperity, were genuinely kind and attentive. While the cleaning, coffee, and food were highlights, we faced issues with our room assignments and maintenance. Despite these challenges, the nearby attractions like Monkey Town offered great family bonding experiences.

While this was only a minor inconvenience, it did affect my overall relaxation during the stay, falling short of my expectations.

The chef prepares amazing food every meal.

We didn't receive fresh bedding during our entire 10-day stay. The staff seemed disinterested and were more focused on their phones than guests, contributing to a lack of professionalism.

I stayed for three nights at this lovely hotel with my family while attending a local event. The family room was spacious and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax together. I especially loved the stunning shower with fantastic water pressure. The ocean view from our balcony was amazing, and we enjoyed lovely sunsets every evening.

I couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable escape. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom, making my experience even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and I found myself wanting to return soon, despite a few small things I wished for, like an ice machine for my drinks.

great view but minor maintenance issues

The view from our apartment set the perfect mood for our anniversary. Relaxing on the balcony while taking in the sea view added a special touch to our celebration.

The maintenance in the apartment needs attention.

I was really uncomfortable because the windows opened to a shared verandah, making it impossible to leave the curtains open. It felt like I was living in a fishbowl, with everyone able to peek in. Totally ruined the vibe!

This will save you time and money

The apartment was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed and a amazing ocean view. While the staff were mostly friendly and cute, some requests went unattended. Despite beautiful scenery, the overall experience could have been better with more attention to detail and follow-through on staff commitments.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

The family room with a mountain view offered us ample space, but the lack of a lounge TV was disappointing. The restaurant had delicious breakfasts, but service was lacking. If you plan to dine, check in early to avoid closed kitchens. An overall enjoyable trip, though.
